Woman, warrior and Queen
The last movie I saw was “Elizabeth: The golden age”. It was three months ago in the course called “British classical literature”. I saw the film with my classmate in the coldest classroom of Arcis University (L-207… a joke).
Elizabeth’s plot is about the real life of the great Queen Elizabeth I. It has a historical background about her reign, and it shows her troubles and her skills to survive in the middle of a hard struggle to reach the crown. The main character was interpreted by Cate Blanchett, I think that she did a good work. In the movie, she is a tiny girl, but she has a very strong temper. Another interesting character was performed by Clive Owen; he did a great role of Elizabeth’s lover.
I enjoyed this film because I love British History. I recommend it to all the people that like history and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

I agree with your comments. I like this movie and the other version too, Elizabeth I, but I think this version shows us another edge of the real story which can be better than the other film.
ReplyDeleteI didn’t watch the film, I missed that class. But as far as I know, that’s a great movie about the life of Elizabeth I. even so, I don’t think I’ll see it, it’s not the type of movies I like.
